Do home remedies for acne work?
So I have been reading on the net and found an article saying how rubbing baking soda paste (baking soda and water) on your face makes acne and scars go away. It sounds pretty hard to believe since baking soda is found in the baking goods section, but people seem to have good reviews about baking soda and acne. Some say it’s a hoax. Also the sea salt treatment, like going to the beach every day swimming in the ocean help rid acne?
The glowing reports you are reading on-line regarding baking soda paste for treating acne and scars, unfortunately, are way exaggerated. If you do nothing for pimples and the dark spots from pimples, they both will go away over a period of time but I don’t believe baking soda paste materially hastens this.
Going to the beach every day, swimming in the ocean probably has some helpful effect on acne but unfortunately not a meaningful one.
