If I use a moisturizer with SPF, do I need sunscreen, too?
Great question! My patients ask me about this also. I always tell them that if your moisturizer has SPF in it, you do not need to wear sunscreen, too. The SPF in a moisturizer is just as effective. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to wear one if you would like to! Just remember to reapply avery 3-4 hours and after swimming or sweating.
